German Laboratory Sets New Standards

“ISO 15189 Medical Laboratories – Particular requirements for Quality and Competence” specifies the quality management system requirements to Medical Laboratories. ISO 15189, which is already a standard in Germany, is prevailing in more and more European countries. Freiburg Laboratory is the first medical laboratory to receive this accreditation certificate in the Middle East.

Freiburg Medical Laboratory Middle East LLC is a joint venture between the University of Freiburg, Synlab (Germany) and the Al Abbas Group (UAE) based in the heart of Bur Dubai. High standard and sophisticated lab-analysis as well as routine medical tests are offered with the scientific know-how of the University Hospital Freiburg as well as from one of the largest German private Laboratories (Synlab) guaranteeing highest German quality standards. The large laboratory is headed by Associate Professor Dr. med. Michaela Jaksch who specializes in laboratory medicine and works with a team of highly qualified German medical technicians.
